A Voyage on Bangkit 2023

Four months ago, we embarked on the Cloud Computing learning path in Bangkit 2023 Batch 1. It has been a tough and rewarding journey. We have faced many obstacles, from confusing concepts to delayed assignments. But we have not given up. We have persisted and improved ourselves. As a mentor, I am committed to helping my mentees reach their goals, my commitment hasn't been fulfilled yet and I aim to help more in the future.

Cloud Computing Learning Path

Cloud computing is an exciting and rewarding field to explore. In this journey, you will learn how to:

Tap into the potential of cloud computing and get ready for a career as a cloud engineer or an infrastructure specialist
Begin your IT journey with a versatile skill set that covers “everything” on this path
Learn how different digital components work together
Have fun with backend programming
Unlock opportunities in DevOps, SRE, or SysAdmin roles

Learning Cloud Computing

In learning cloud computing, you will learn many things not limited to just the cloud. In general, you will learn about the cloud itself and will spend some time doing web development in summary you will learn about:

OS(s) such as Linux and Windows (a heavy emphasis on Linux though)
Computer Networks, learning basics about networks in computers
Security, this will delve into policies and access control
Hardware, you will learn a bit about hardware
Troubleshooting, you will learn this of course not only in cloud computing but this will be the main point that you will learn
The system, you will learn about this a LOT especially doing the assignments, and will be bliss for you who likes building systems

What You Will Do in Your Capstone Project

If you are interested in Bangkit (and this is for you!), you might be curious about what you will do in the capstone project. Here are some of the tasks (not in order):

Help your teammates in mobile development (MD) and machine learning (ML) with their work
Create APIs to connect the MD and ML components
Deploy those components to the cloud

These are some of the skills you will learn and practice in the Bangkit Cloud Computing Path.
